The Naming

I just thought I'd start off by explaining the title.  I wanted a creative title that would really express my hopes for my semester abroad.  I also really wanted to use a completely new and different word just to make it fun.  Thus, The Quest for Conflation: My Adventures Abroad.  Conflation, for those of you who don't know (and I was a member of this party prior to 30 min ago),  is "the process or result of fusing items into one entity".  In this case, the items to be fused will be all the little tidbits of knowledge I am to acquire over the next 4.5 months.  Ideally they would be fused into the one entity of my person.  

I felt the latter clause was necessary to give people an idea of what the hec they were directed to read... ;)
