Travel day!
Left Nice and took a train to Lyon. Uneventful. You know what was awesome though? Our hotel was literally 2 min from the train station. We walked outside and could see it immediately on our left!
Unpacked and set to explore. Unfortunately that didn’t really happen. When in Lyon, you have to have cash to pay for the metro and if you would like a student ticket you actually have to go to a desk. The line was out the door for the desk. That put a damper on the museum. The thunderstorm pretty much prevented us from doing anything outside, so we were stuck. Thus we explored a mall for 1.5 hours! Malls in Europe are incredibly similar those in US (who’d have thunk it?). Returned to the hotel and chilled.
