Delphi

Another school field trip!  This one was a little more doable though.  Instead of Anne chaperoning, it was the history professor, Robert.  Pretty much complete opposites.  Robert likes to be short and to the point.  He’s also British and has the perfect dry sense of humor to accompany his accent.  Needless to say, the weekend was quite enjoyable.  The weekend started with a visit to a gorgeous monastery which was on our way.  Then we saw the ruins of Delphi.  Spent the night in the tiny little town of Delphi (which Robert is not very excited about by the way) at a gorgeous hotel.  The following morning we finished up the ruins and headed back to Athens!  The ruins were pretty awesome.  Reminded me a lot of literature class both here and in high school.  It was cool to actually be able to see the Temple the Oracle sat in and a couple of the theaters.  Overall a great weekend!
