My life in Athens
Be ready for an incredibly long post...
So now you pretty much know everything about our weekends in Greece, but nothing about our day to day life. It wasn’t too much different from life in the States. We would have class during the day and then in the evenings we would either do homework or be out exploring or getting together at each other’s places. The following is a list of the highlights from our 2 months in no particular order.

Delphi
Another school field trip! This one was a little more doable though. Instead of Anne chaperoning, it was the history professor, Robert. Pretty much complete opposites. Robert likes to be short and to the point. He’s also British and has the perfect dry sense of humor to accompany his accent. Needless to say, the weekend was quite enjoyable. The weekend started with a visit to a gorgeous monastery which was on our way. Then we saw the ruins of Delphi. Spent the night in the tiny little town of Delphi (which Robert is not very excited about by the way) at a gorgeous hotel. The following morning we finished up the ruins and headed back to Athens! The ruins were pretty awesome. Reminded me a lot of literature class both here and in high school. It was cool to actually be able to see the Temple the Oracle sat in and a couple of the theaters. Overall a great weekend!

Meteora
About half our group went to Meteora for a weekend on our own. Though it took us awhile to actually get there, we had a blast.
Still slightly behind...
I'm in Rome now! Unfortunately my blogging is more than a month behind. I'm going to try and catch you all up as quickly as possible!
We spent a weekend in Olympia as part of a school-planned field trip. Anne Stewart was our school sponsored chaperone- which meant long-winded explanations and countless hours walking around ancient sites and museums. Not very exciting stuff. We were able to see Mycenae, Tiryns, Nauplio, Epidauros, and Olympia. Really nice hotels that provided wonderful dinners, lots of temples and theaters- the pictures are pretty self-explanatory. All this is the long way of saying I don’t have a lot to say. I’ll give you the couple notable events though.

Santorini!
So this post (and probably the next few) will not have any pictures in the blog. I'll post a link to the albums I have on facebook for you all to enjoy. :)
We started with quite an early morning. 5:30am at the metro. We had the unfortunate experience of meeting with our fist pickpocketers. They really do make a big commotion and shove up against people. The victims: iPhone and camera. After that experience we were on a ferry for 7 hours! Ferries are pretty cool. You get to see a lot of water and Greek islands.

Dear blog
It would really be nice if you would learn to write yourself. I can't remember things from a month ago. And writing a month's worth of events is a very daunting task.
Sincerely,
